Hmmm…Good question. I’m not sure that I know of a country where PC isn’t threatening the rights of regular people. I’m sure there may be a few where it isn’t as intrusive, but I couldn’t tell you where.

One very good question: I hope this does not happen, but if we do end up losing our freedom in the U.S. because of extreme political correctness, then decent people will need to have a place they can flee to. Which countries may be best? Certainly not Europe or Canada, they are worse than the U.S. But are there any better, still decent countries-and if so, which countries?

As I was reading your post, I was thinking of a piece I had read recently of people who have met their demise (linked to the Clintons) and then you posted about that too. This is a bit disturbing, even though I feel Obama is too liberal for my tastes, I think he is a decent person and would hate to see any harm come to him.
And I’m so glad to see you back posting. I was concerned about your absense, but also figured you had some things to work through. I’m glad you’re feeling better and look forward to reading more from you.

Well, Jodi, you had me until the conspiracy part. I know we have funny stuff going on inside our own government – that’s a given. However, if you don’t think for one minute we have outside forces trying to destroy our country, I suggest you look at the facts regarding the Middle-East.

I will give you the fact that yes, we as a country, have brought a lot of this on ourselves. This is thanks to our own Central Intelligence Agency. Osama Bin Laden is our own monster. We created him when we backed the Afghans against the Soviet Union, then turned our back on him and the Afghan warriors. A lot of the problems, though, is fundamental Islam and its desire to erase other religions from the planet. I know this stuff…I have studied it, learned it, and have been privy to intelligence that you probably haven’t. The threat is real, and the threat is from the outside.

I would suggest studying the Arab-Israeli conflict as a primer. Look at both sides and then form your own logical conclusion. Don’t look at the propaganda, look at the facts. You will soon learn that the whole conspiracy that the United States wasn’t attacked by Muslim terrorists on 9/11 does not hold any water whatsoever.

I would have to agree with you about Ron Paul. He answers questions directly and does not talk rhetoric. He is America’s only fighting chance and the so – called conspiracy theories need to be looked at more seriously because that word is over used and misunderstood. If you people think Sept. 11 was taken down (along with building #7) by a guy in a cave you better re-wire your brains and have a second look. Your government is the terrorist, there are no other terrorists, there is no enemy outside the U.S.
