Possible Set-Up In Dallas?

Posted by Terry on February 25, 2008

There is some strange and disturbing news coming out of Dallas. On Wednesday, February 20th, Presidential candidate Barak Obama visited Reunion Arena in the the city while campaigning for the upcoming primary.

About 90 minutes before the start of the event, the protection detail from the Dallas Police Department was ordered by the U.S. Secret Service to stand down and stop checking people for weapons. This is really suspicious considering we have a man who, if elected president, would be the first black man in the oval office. In my experience, it would seem necessary to double the security for Mr. Obama at all venues.

My personal opinion is this: If Barak Obama were to be elected President, I dare say there would at least be an attempt on his life, if not an actual assassination, within the first year of his term. He would be the biggest presidential target in the history of the United States.

I’m am real curious who gave the order and why it was given. The only explanation given was that it seemed to be a “Friendly crowd”. The only logical conclusion one could come up with is that there is, and everyone knows how much I hate this word, a conspiracy to have Obama eliminated. The only question would be this: Is it politically motivated?

There is a trail of death in the Clinton’s rise to power and we all know that former President Bill Clinton still wields much influence in the political arena. Could it possibly be that since Hillary is behind the 8 ball, there was some influence asserted to make this completely asinine decision to stand down?

Just some food for thought.

The Hillary Express: Derailing At A Debate Near You!

Posted by Terry on January 29, 2008

As the campaigns for the Democratic nomination heat up – and to some extent fall apart, I am starting to see some things that I like, dislike, and fear coming from the presidential nominees.

The Hillary Express seems to be derailing and, after months of a groundswell of support, everyone in Washington seems to be abandoning ship. In my opinion, this is probably the best thing that can happen to America. I mean, who wants to live in the old U.S.S.A.? Hillary’s policies are socialist in nature, to put it mildly, and would lead this country to government-run everything. For a fine example of government-run institutions, just take a look at Canadian and, most importantly, British health care.

And who can we thank for Hillary’s train wreck?

Well, Bill of course.

The former president just can’t stand by and watch his wife run for president and not put in his two cents worth. The problem with Bill is his two cents aren’t enough to feed the meter anymore. Time after time within the last month, he has either put his foot in his mouth or just flat out made an ass out of himself.

Senator Ted Kennedy, who is about as far left as you can get without Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and John Murtha thrown in the mix, has pulled his support for the Clinton camp and is now rallying for the Obama campaign.

Ted has been Hillary and Bill’s biggest cheerleader since 1992. He has shown unwaivering support for the Clinton agenda from the beginning, going to bat on everything Bill wanted as president, as well as Hillary’s senatorial run. If you are a democrat in Washington, you couldn’t ask for anyone better to watch your back. The problem is, you piss-off a Kennedy and you’re screwed.

Everyone knows that Bill and Hillary don’t get along. Their’s is a marriage of convenience, a way to political power. Now that Bill has gone wayward with his mouth, you will see Hillary implode, and when she finally loses it it will be a lot of fun to watch.

Just Who The Hell Is Ron Paul?

Posted by Terry on January 15, 2008

To one degree or another, I’m sure you’ve heard of Ron Paul. To some, he seems like the little pain in the ass who will not go away. To others he is associated with conspiracy theories, a presidential candidate who is being blocked out by unseen forces in the government because of his stance on the Constitution of the United States. Just who the hell is Ron Paul and, more importantly, can he become a serious presidential candidate?

Personally, I like Ron Paul and what be stands for. He is a strict Constitutionalist and, if you actually take time to read or hear his message, makes a lot of sense on the issues we face today.

Known as Dr. No, he has demonstrated time and again his willingness to not only follow the Constitution but also the willingness to listen to his constituents. He believes, as I do, that the Government is abusing it’s Constitutional authority by passing laws and regulations, levying taxes, and generally disregarding American sovereignty by entering into foreign trade agreements and being members of organizations such as the United Nations.

The problem I have is not with the man, but the loonies who have jumped on his bandwagon. I have perused personal websites and websites of organizations who support Dr. Paul, and I have to tell you, “THEY” are definitely coming out of the woodwork. The most prominent I see are the conspiracy theorists. These are the people who believe that our country is being run by some shadow government, people who are behind the scenes and call the shots.

Alex Jones, a second rate underground journalist and talk show host based out of Texas, is the kind of people Ron Paul is attracting. If you don’t know who Alex Jones is, go to his website and see for yourself. I am acquainted with Mr. Jones from his guest appearances on the overnight talk show Coast to Coast AM. This guy believes in just about every conspiracy theory you can imagine, and then some.

I have also heard Ron Paul supporters call in other talk shows with their talking points. While there are a few who actually make sense, most are the type who will call talk show lines and when it’s their turn, they go off topic and spout off about the government conspiracies against Ron Paul and how he will gain the most votes but mysteriously will never win because everything is predetermined by a shadow government.

So far, from what I can tell, Ron Paul hasn’t made a serious effort to distance himself from these whack jobs. Why he hasn’t baffles me. He is a man with high intelligence, a straight-forward and no nonsense message without a hint of conspiracy. Candidates who are serious about a run for any office will seek out the supporters who they think will do the most damage and do everything in their power to distance themselves from them.

I believe that Dr. Ron Paul would make probably the best President since Ronald Reagan, if not the best president in modern times. He has the right message, the right attitude, and the correct knowledge of how government works. Would I vote for him? Barring any major stumble in his candidacy or his message, I would. Would I campaign for him, or publicly support him? Probably not. Being in public service I would have too much to lose by supporting what the public perceives as a campaign shrouded in conspiracy theories. There is a light of lunacy to his campaign, and even though it’s not necessarily his fault, diminishes his chances for even making it out of the primaries.

With supporters like the ones I’ve mentioned, even George Washington couldn’t get elected as president.

Drop a comment and let me know what you think.

Utah Woman Ordered to Enroll Kids or Lose Custody

Denise Mafi was recently ordered by Juvenile Court Judge Scott Johansen to stop homeschooling and place her children in public school. The penalty? Arrest.

She has now fled Utah to an undisclosed location to avoid being incarcerated.

Let’s face it, our public schools are failing our kids. There are some good districts still out there, but for the most part public schools are a mess. They are too worried about political correctness, zero tolerance, and making sure God doesn’t offend someone.

Run Denise, run!

Hey, Stop Stealing My Rain!

Now this is one strange story. Basically in a nutshell, some Colorado residents are being told that they are stealing someone else’s water, even if it is coming from their own wells. Pay particular attention to the part about the gentleman that wanted to collect rainwater in a cistern…Un freakin’ believable!

I won’t even comment on this, except to say that in our nation’s capital going by the book is more important than life and property. read the story HERE.

Putin: Man Of The Year?

Posted by Terry on January 15, 2008

Well, well, well…In accordance to their socialist, left-leaning ways, Time magazine has voted Vladimir Putin as Time’s “Man Of The Year”. In these times of the lefties who want to destroy America, it only seems appropriate to anoint a person who has alluded to a desire to nuke the United States as their man. And, in the age of imminent destruction by global warming, Al Gore was the runner-up. A bully and a fraud…Now that’s just peachy. Oh, and by the way, General David Petraeus was also a runner-up, but not before J.K. Rowling of Harry Potter fame. Only in American “Journalism” would an inventor of an imaginary wizard finish as a person of the year in front of a General who has taken a war we were losing and turned it around. God Bless the U.S.S.A.!

Feeding The World…

Global wheat prices are skyrocketing, and the U.N. says it is depleting the supply. Of course, it is all tied back to global warming. That’s funny. According to the Washington Times, low temperature records are being set globally. Are you starting to see a pattern here?

Congress Bans incandescent Light Bulbs…

Yep, Congress is at it again. It seems the hair-brained schemes they’ve pulled aren’t enough. While they were busy this past year re-naming 250 or so Post Offices and opening over 300 investigations into the Bush administration’s White House, someone on the left side of the aisle realized that they were bringing mother earth closer to burning up by not being green in the way they illuminate the chambers. And the way Americans light their way.

This piece of work will ban all incandescent light bulbs by 2014. The bill, signed by President Bush, calls for all light bulbs to use 30 percent less energy by 2014 and – get this – 70 percent by 2020. The bill also calls for auto efficiency to be raised by 40 percent. And who gets screwed in the end? US!

With Fluorescent bulbs costing 7 to 10 times more, and vehicle prices climbing every year due to over regulation, this is going to make it very difficult on the average American’s budget.

I have a better Idea for our Congress: Lets try to get the budget balanced, find a short term solution to energy prices (Anwar…hint hint) and cut our taxes.

Balancing the Budget, Cal-ee-forn-eea Style

California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger announced that he will have to declare a ‘Fiscal Emergency” due to a $14 billion budget shortfall. Meanwhile, the State Assembly just passed the first phase of a resolution giving all of it’s residents medical insurance…to the tune of $14 billion worth. Geez, I wish I could run my house with such fiscal responsibility.

Al Khalifa said that at the very least, Iran is attempting to gain the ability to produce nuclear weaponry.

Trying To Catch Up…

Posted by Terry on October 1, 2007

Well, after my marathon writing session last week, I took a few days off to rest my eyes and fingers. The blisters have healed and the double vision has passed, so it’s back to business.

FBI INVESTIGATION TRAIN TRACK SABOTAGE…Remember, in the Federal Bureau of Investigation, there are no links to terrorism. Either blame it on the Anglo-Saxon American, or just explain it away. It may have just been swamp gas.

NEW IDEA FOR TERRORISTS! I’m sure someone in Al-Qaeda is in charge of taking notes!

DETROIT: ANTI-JEWISH, ANTI-CHRISTIAN LITERATURE FOUND LEFT ON CARS.

MAN CLAIMING TO BE TERRORIST ARRESTED A LOGAN INTERNATIONAL… Just goes to show that everyone can’t be a successful comedian.

PENTAGON LAUNCHES AFRICAN COMMAND (AFRICOM)…I thought this was already done years ago.

WE’RE MAKING PROGRESS IN IRAQ, ONE IDIOT AT A TIME. I bet Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are just flat out pissed.

EU PROPOSES CLAMPDOWN TO COMBAT TERRORISM. I think this is a wonderful idea, but it’ll never get past Nancy and Harry.

REMEMBER, SECURITY STARTS AT THE BORDERS…If only our elected officials would listen to their constituents.

SOME AIR RESERVISTS REJECT UNIFORM RULE. This struck me as, well, just flat out strange. Let’s look at this for just a moment…You’re a young man and want to join the Air Force. Now, as just about anyone knows, part of being in the military is wearing a uniform. These reservists now want to wear their civi’s while their doing their weekend warrior stint, and their threatening with their union. What the hell are they going to do, go on strike? I’d put them in the damn brig, period. If they wanna wear their civi’s, they should think about SpecOps.

And finally for today, HOW ABOUT BOWING TO THE INTOLERANCE OF ISLAM!

Democrats Claim “Moral Victory”

Posted by Terry on August 6, 2007

Last week the Congress passed the ethics and lobbying “reform” bill. Democrats declared it a “great victory,” “historic,” and “landmark.”.

But what did the bill actually do? Not much, according to Senator Tom Coburn and Townhall columnist Paul Jacob. Coburn labels the bill a betrayal of the American people. Take a look at some of the points and let me know what you think:

  • The bill was changed to make earmark disclosure voluntary rather than mandatory.
  • The requirement of 67 Senate votes to suspend the earmark disclosure rule was changed to 40 votes – less than a majority.
  • The language prohibiting a member or staff from promoting earmarks they would personally benefit from was completely eviscerated.
  • So was the language prohibiting a member from trading votes for earmarks.
  • The requirement that earmarks be put on the Internet 48 hours after their inclusion in legislation was changed to “as soon as practical.”
  • The non-partisan Senate parliamentarian was replaced by the majority leader as the referee who would determine whether earmark disclosure requirements are met.
  • The bill also weakened other elements of disclosure and transparency.

The real problem with Congressmen is not how they disclose earmarks but the fact that they cannot be fiscally responsible to begin with. Legislation is not what is going to stop it. It’s going to take action from the people. Sadly, the people want to do something about every free-spending congressman in DC but their own.

At some point you have to start wondering if our Republic can survive this Washington gamesmanship much longer. – from Neal Boortz

The people of this nation need to stand up and start paying attention to this hoodoo-voodoo on both sides of the aisle. Both parties are responsible for crap like this and it is tearing this nation apart from the inside. I think Kevin mentioned this earlier and I would have to agree with his sentiment – That Ron Paul is probably the best pick for the country because of his deep concern for the constitution and the good of the people. He has proven so with his voting record.

I think the media, mainstream as well as others, aren’t giving him the exposure he deserves because they fear him and what he stands for.

Is The Media Back-Peddling On The War?

Posted by Terry on August 2, 2007

Okay, I think it’s time to stir the pot a little bit.

Yesterday, The New York Times published an article by Michael O’Hanlon and Kenneth Pollock of the Brookings institute titled “A War We Just Might Win“. This article is interesting from the view that The Brookings institute is a liberal think-tank and the Times is about as far-left in the media as you can get. The Times has been a prominent basher of the Bush administration for the last seven years and the Brookings Institute has mused in the past that we absolutely cannot win in Iraq.

I will admit that in 2003 I was in favor of the Iraq invasion because of the so-called intelligence conveyed to the public. With time, though, I have come to be a critic of the war. I’m not a critic because I think Bush is an idiot (Although he does appear inept most of the time), but because the war has been mismanaged from the get-go. We can argue until we are blue in the face about the lies of the WMD’s, but we had a pretty good evidence of violations, thus a reason to intervene where the UN inspectors were slacking. That’s a whole other article in and of itself. The only thing I will say is that we know for sure, without a doubt, that there were some WMD’s in Iraq.

Here is where my opinion will probably get me bombarded with nasty-grams.

Fire away, I have my vest on…

The Democratic controlled Congress have had no real illusions about pulling out of Iraq, unless they could get it accomplished before the Primaries in ‘08. They aren’t saying as much, but it’s only a matter of time before you start hearing them change their tune. If I’m wrong this time next year, you can then tar and feather me.

My impression of most of Congress right now is that they are still pissed off because they lost the Presidency in 2000. Therefore, their main objective is not to get our troops home, although that is a by-product of their hatred, but to get even with the Evil George Bush at any cost. I will be the first to stand up and say that Dubya has made his mistakes and there are things going on that aren’t kosher, but the impression of revenge is there. That I can argue pretty good, considering that the biggest “accomplishments” they have made are opening over 300 congressional investigations of the White House (295 or so of which were unfounded) and re-named 50 post offices.

With all the problems we have both internally and externally, renaming 50 post offices should be pretty low on the to-do list, considering we are at war.

In January, the Senate confirmed in a vote of 81-0 the appointment of General David Petraeus, who was Bush’s top pick, to lead the military forces in Iraq. They also gave him until September of this year to give a report to Congress on the state of the war in Iraq.

Oh, but how times change – and fast.

Certain Republicans in the Senate have now cast a vote of no-confidence in Petraeus’ plan to win in Iraq. How fitting is that? Just when we found a General with the right plan, and a plan that is working, the Senate doesn’t want to hear about it. It seems to me they wanted another stooge to place the blame on for failure, and when they find out that he is making progress, they cut him off at the pass.

You would think that this would be good news for a Congress who wants to finish the war in Iraq and get us out of there. Well, according to House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-South Carolina), this good news poses some problems for the anti-war crowd in Congress. The problem is that they don’t want us to win, they want us to turn tail and surrender in the French tradition.

Now, there could be several reasons for this.

Pelosi and the gang, along with anyone not in denial, know that there will be a Democratic White House come ‘09. They will have complete control of the White House as well as Congress (Let’s here the far-lefters bitch about a balance of power then!). Why does this matter?

Simply put, they don’t want to be the party that lost the Iraq War.

I’m sure there are a lot of late night sessions ahead for the Democrats and Republicans who want us out of Iraq, like, tomorrow. Right now they are assessing what the media, especially the ones they have relied upon to convey their message, have to say in the upcoming months about the successes in Iraq. Just like all politicians, they will go with the flow of public opinion eventually, and realize that they have to accomplish something positive in the publics mind.

It will be interesting to see how all this shakes out between now and January. Let’s all just hope that whatever happens, we can get our soldiers out of there as soon as possible.

Oh, and I’ll lay it out as to why I think we should get our troops home ASAP:

1) To secure our borders against illegals who enter this country, and

2) Because when (Not if) we have another terrorist attack, we’re going to need more troops here because it’s going to be a big one and multi-faceted.

I am not pro-war, nor am I anti-war. I follow the line that we need to win this war in Iraq. Why? Well, because the future of our national security depends on it. Bin-Laden said a while back that America is a paper tiger. If you resist and fight back they will run. That is the mentality of Al-Qaeda, along with kill anyone who is not Muslim and won’t convert. If we run in Iraq, we’re in trouble here..

Death Of Football Star Now Political Fodder

Posted by Terry on August 1, 2007

As new reports come out about the circumstances of the death of Arizona Cardinal’s star Pat Tillman, we are finding more and more evidence that not only was his death a friendly-fire incident, but possibly (Or more than likely) a calculated killing.

The evidence has been slow to come out, for sure. When we first heard of Tillman’s death, everyone – pros and cons of the war – was shocked and saddened. We have a young man who’s potential on the gridiron was very, very promising and he gave it all up to serve his country, although he was against the war in Iraq.

Now we are finding out that his death, although still while serving honorably, was possibly a murder. Why? well, it appears at this point one of his fellow Rangers was miffed because Tillman told him to quit sniveling about being under fire (I don’t know what the exact quote was, but you get the picture). Apparently the Ranger in question returned the comment by firing 3 rounds into Tillman’s head at close range.

Was, and is, the Bush administration covering up what actually happened? Sure. Why? Well, that is open to speculation but we can all agree that for one reason or another, they didn’t want the truth to come out. Now, my gut feeling is that they wanted to use Tillman to say, “Look, we have a young man who could have made ass-loads of money playing football but he believed in what we were doing in Iraq and sacrificed his life”.

Now that we have all that out of the way, here’s why I’m writing this. The blog site DailyKos.com is now reporting that Tillman was possibly murdered, by orders from the top of the Bush administration, to keep him from becoming an anti-war icon. How in the hell did this story come about? Well, in a nutshell, it stems from an interview of then General Wesley Clark by Keith Olbermann. Nowhere in this interview did Clark indicate that his murder was possibly ordered, but our favorite nut job and conspiracy whack Alex Jones, who lives in his own little pathetic world, took the story and twisted it, making false statements, and made it appear it was an assassination order from the administration.

It appears now that the bandwagon of the anti-war websites are picking up the story.

There is no doubt that someone, and no one on the outside knows for sure right now, ordered a cover-up of Tillman’s death. Was it Bush? Cheney? Bob who sweeps the floors of the West Wing? Don’t know. Why are they using Executive Privilege to keep the story in the shadows? My guess would be that it has to do with nothing more than trying to figure out who did it, get their story straight and not jump the gun. I could be wrong though. This administration has used Executive Privilege more than I’ve used my dishwasher. The best thing they can do is come clean and say, “Hey, we screwed up and we’re sorry”. Will they do it? Hell no.

Ranger Patrick Tillman died an honorable death doing what he thought was right. This administration has tarnished his, and every other soldier and Marine, who have worn the uniform and died for their country. However, using Tillman’s death to exact revenge on Dubya also tarnishes his memory and his service. It’s the mindless zombies who will get back at this administration at all costs, even if it means lying, cheating, and stealing. They refuse to use common sense.

That pisses me off.
