Possible Set-Up In Dallas?

Posted by Terry on February 25, 2008

There is some strange and disturbing news coming out of Dallas. On Wednesday, February 20th, Presidential candidate Barak Obama visited Reunion Arena in the the city while campaigning for the upcoming primary.

About 90 minutes before the start of the event, the protection detail from the Dallas Police Department was ordered by the U.S. Secret Service to stand down and stop checking people for weapons. This is really suspicious considering we have a man who, if elected president, would be the first black man in the oval office. In my experience, it would seem necessary to double the security for Mr. Obama at all venues.

My personal opinion is this: If Barak Obama were to be elected President, I dare say there would at least be an attempt on his life, if not an actual assassination, within the first year of his term. He would be the biggest presidential target in the history of the United States.

I’m am real curious who gave the order and why it was given. The only explanation given was that it seemed to be a “Friendly crowd”. The only logical conclusion one could come up with is that there is, and everyone knows how much I hate this word, a conspiracy to have Obama eliminated. The only question would be this: Is it politically motivated?

There is a trail of death in the Clinton’s rise to power and we all know that former President Bill Clinton still wields much influence in the political arena. Could it possibly be that since Hillary is behind the 8 ball, there was some influence asserted to make this completely asinine decision to stand down?

Just some food for thought.

Another News Failure: Why We Never Hear These Stories

Posted by Terry on January 22, 2008

Weapons Cache Found In Columbia Professors Home

Here’s another story that, amazingly, has flown under the radar of the national media.

The intelligence and terrorism news website, National Terror Alert, reported on Sunday that police found an arsenal of weapons at the Brooklyn Heights home of Michael Clatts, a medical anthropologist and professor at Columbia University.

You can read the story in its entirety HERE.

I have ranted against this type of non-reporting for quite awhile, and I understand to a certain extent why these stories aren’t covered by the national news outlets.

Reason number one is that the FBI are or may be involved in the investigation.

Anytime the FBI investigates a possible terror related incident, it seems to be swept under the rug. Sometimes, this is necessary to carry out an investigation and to keep leads from drying up and actors disappearing. Usually when the lead agent and other law enforcement officials are tight lipped, this is the case.

However, when the FBI basically explains it away as not terror related or a “lone wolf” actor, they are in essence saying, “Well, it may be terror related but we’re not going to tell you that”.

Reason number two, and I think this is the real culprit in non-reporting, is the fear of offending – AKA Political Correctness.

As I’ve said before, political correctness will be the downfall of our culture, a culture that used to treasure individuality. Along with our culture so goes our national security. When you have the lead law enforcement agency in the United States bowing to the whims of PC elitists and activist groups, it serves us no good purpose.

You will rarely see the FBI tie acts or attempted acts of terror to Muslims. They will tap dance their way around the subject so as not to offend or stir the pot. An excellent example of this is the Joel Hinrichs case at the University of Oklahoma.

Let me guess: You’ve Never heard of Joel Hinrichs.

Don’t feel bad, neither has the majority of people in this country. You probably also didn’t know that Hinrichs detonated a suicide bomb, although prematurely, outside of the football stadium at the University of Oklahoma during a football game.

A basic synopsis of the case goes like this: Mr. Hinrichs was attempting to enter the University of Oklahoma football game on October 1, 2005. Somehow, he prematurely detonated his backpack bomb, with the key ingredient being Triacetone Triperoxide, or TATP. This is a particularly nasty substance, more volatile than C-4 (C-4 is the plastic explosive used by the U.S. military). It was also discovered that Mr. Hinrichs was a muslim convert and attended a local mosque.

Once the FBI got involved, everything relating to Islam and Islamic terror was explained away. Ever heard of Swamp Gas?

If you would like to learn more about this, do a Google Search on Joel Hinrichs.

The average person in the United States has no idea how many possible terror attacks are stopped each year. You can thank the media for this. Suspicious activity happens all the time, and a lot of it has the earmarks of terror planning. I can give you a very long list of incidents that received no national attention whatsoever, and that is just in the last four years.

We live in a culture of “Here no evil, see no evil”. If we don’t know what’s going on, everything must be just peachy with our national security, right? So far, our intelligence and counter-terrorism groups have done an outstanding, if not amazing job, of finding the threats and stopping them. But the string will end, and when it does it’s going to be bad.

The funny and ironic thing about reporting news is this: We may not always know what the terrorists are doing, but we sure as hell know what Brittany Spears and Lindsey Lohan are doing at all times.

Maybe we should put the tabloids and paparazzi in charge of counter-terrorism. At least we would know what is going on all the time.

CAIR And The Bullying Of America

Posted by Terry on January 15, 2008

Well, The Council on American-Islamic Relations is back at it again, this time making the news three times in the same week. Boy are they staying busy!

The FBI recently released their Hate Crime Statistics for 2006, and it seems to be at odds with CAIR’s report of the same time frame. In fact it appears that CAIR’s report is greatly exaggerated. They probably take into account every time a Non-Muslim looks at them cross-eyed.

Do a web search for CAIR and you can see they have quite an illustrious history of fabrication.

Also, CAIR has been at war with radio talk show host Michael Savage, waging a boycott on his show citing “Hate Speech”.

Well, Savage is fighting back. He has filed a lawsuit in Federal Court, citing CAIR as a “Vehicle of international terrorism”, and for misuse of his copyrighted broadcast material.

And for the hat trick…

CAIR was busted out Friday in regards to planting questioners in the audience of the presidential debates. These plants, one of which was the executive director for the Chicago chapter, are posing as ordinary citizens, and asking questions skewed towards the so-called victimization of Muslims. You can link HERE for the rest of the story from World Net daily.

I thinks it’s time that we took CAIR over our collective knees and give them a good old fashioned spanking.

The Politics Of The NIE 2007: Iran Gets A Pass

Posted by Terry on January 15, 2008

Back in 2004, American defense and intelligence officials were given a bombshell report from General Ihor Smeshko, head of the Ukrainian Secret Service.

Intelligence and Pentagon officials were in London discussing WMD’s in Iraq with Britain’s MI6 when they were advised by General Smeshko that Iran had been attempting to persuade the Ukraine to give them access to their nuclear technology.

John Shaw, who was at that time the Pentagon’s deputy secretary for international technology security, stated that, according to Smeshko, the Iranians weren’t interested in the technology for energy purposes.

Now, Intelligence officials are saying that Iran is no longer a threat. According to the National Intelligence Estimate (NIE), Iran is continuing their enrichment program but they have ceased any weaponizing attempts. The funny thing is that according the NIE report, Iran halted the program in 2003, a year before the meeting in London.

Obviously, something isn’t right here. American Intelligence has insisted for the last couple of years, all they way up to just a few months ago, that Iran is determined to enrich Uranium to develop nuclear weapons. All of a sudden, almost overnight, they have done a complete turnaround.

One major fact that anyone who is following this has to realize is that most of the 700 or so page report remains classified. My curiosity wants to know what else is in that report.

Gut instinct tells me that this report on Iran is purely political in nature. President Bush’s war on terror started with noble intentions in Afghanistan. When President Bush pleaded his case to go into Iraq, most politicians were on board. The list of those who were for an Iraq invasion included many of the Democrats that have been calling it an unjust war since they took control of congress, including Harry Reid, John Murtha and Hillary Clinton. With the intelligence we had – and it was good solid intelligence – just about everyone from the top down in Washington thought it was a good idea.

We now have senators and representatives who say that we were lied to. They say President Bush manipulated the intelligence community to give him a reason to go to war. We now have an intelligence community who appear unanimous in their estimate that Iran is no longer a threat. This, by all accounts, seems to be perfectly okay with the current Democrat-led Congress.

As long as the information suits their agenda, they will back the Intelligence agencies 110%, and give them what they want. The authors of the latest NIE report need to be looked at with suspicion. Thomas Fingar, Kenneth Brill and Vann Van Diepen, all former State Department officials, have had an ax to grind with President Bush since the invasion of Iraq in 2003. They have also been very vocal about their opposition to Iranian sanctions.

There are currently a handful in congress now who are beholden to the far left ideology of “Take down Bush at all costs”. It seems that I remember a lot of moderates who were not on that bandwagon before the last election who have changed their politics. These are the cowards who will side with only the team that is winning, who seek shelter at any change in the wind.

You just simply can’t have it both ways. Intelligence in the United States is political in nature. There are agents and officials jockeying for positions in various cabinets and departments. Being shrouded in secrecy, it is easy to manipulate any data or information to suit ones agenda without much outside scrutiny. All too often, the security of the United States and its citizens are what suffers. Anyone can do just a little research on the internet and see the intelligence failures in just the last fifteen or so years, failures that could have prevented tragedy.

All in all, we don’t know, and probably won’t know, what is in the rest of the NIE on Iran until we are either old and gray or have passed on. We didn’t know everything in 2003 and we sure as hell don’t know now. Iran is a threat, and this latest blunder in intelligence has emboldened Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his regime. He is gaining friends at an alarming pace, friends that are powerful and can inflict damage on the United States on various fronts.

When all is said and done, who will take responsibility for sacrificing American security for the sake of politics?

The Al-Qaeda Threat In Pakistan Equals A Very Real Threat To The U.S.

Posted by Terry on October 6, 2007

I have been following the news regarding the recent events in Pakistan and, quite frankly, am alarmed not only by the possible outcome of Musharraf losing his grip on the country, but also the way it is being portrayed in the media.

Everyone from President Bush down to the staff reporters in the main stream media have called for Musharraf to halt his crackdown and to restore democracy. I am wholly in favor of democracy, but in this case there is too much at stake.

The problem I have is the way the media glosses over the real reason for the crackdown and portrays it as a power grab to keep control of the country.

We cannot, under any circumstances, let the Musharraf regime fall to Al-Qaeda forces. The one thing they prize the most is what Musharraf has: Nuclear weapons. Just the idea of Al-Qaeda having nukes sends shivers up my spine.

Israel would be nuked almost immediately. We would be nuked, if not simultaneously, immediately thereafter. This would put the United States in a very tough situation in the international community. If we don’t pre-eminently strike with nukes, we would see a catastrophe unlike any in U.S. History. If we do pre-eminently strike, we would be condemned and sanctioned, almost with certainty, by the UN and the rest of the “Global Community”.

Most Americans watch international news with a kind of a wink and a shrug. Let’s face it: We live in a society that values the here and now, and looks at consequences later, usually when it’s too late. That attitude is what’s going to bring this country to the brink of extinction.

We need to watch this as intently as we would a national emergency here. Most don’t want to admit it but we are directly affected by what happens in the next weeks and months in Pakistan. If we don’t support the crackdown on Islamic radicals and offer any assistance to Musharraf, World War III will be just a hop, skip and a jump away.

Child On White House Tour Momentarily Seizes Control Of The Nation

WASHINGTON, DC—In an event unprecedented in American history, Brandon Myers, a relatively obscure Iowa 10-year-old with no previous experience in domestic politics, took advantage of a clear leadership void and seized control of the United States Tuesday after he slipped away from his White House tour group and locked himself in the Oval Office.

Enlarge Image Federal officersFederal officers assess the damage to the seat of American power.

The bloodless coup occurred when Myers, a fifth-grader at Mulberry Elementary School, stormed into the empty office and seated himself at the president’s desk, thereby toppling the world’s longest-running democracy. Myers spent much of his reign, which lasted from approximately 2:00 p.m. to 2:15 p.m., spinning in circles in the president’s chair before proclaiming that he was “President Brandon” with a handwritten decree scrawled in cursive on White House stationery.

“Earlier this afternoon, sometime between a description of the James Buchanan portrait in the Main Hall and the question-and-answer session, a pre- adolescent boy overthrew the president and gained executive authority over the United States of America,” White House press secretary Dana Perino said at a news conference Tuesday. “Several minutes ago, our nation’s new leader made his first statement: ‘Brandon rules.’”

Shortly after forcing former president George W. Bush out of office, Myers issued an executive order for pizza using the intercom in the Oval Office. Congress immediately passed emergency funding for 1,200 stuffed-crust pepperoni pizzas from Pizza Hut.

While the sudden change in government came as a shock to millions, a number of Washington insiders claimed that Bush’s low poll numbers and lame-duck status created the perfect environment for an ambitious individual to fill the nation’s leadership vacuum. But, though Myers was put through the same level of security as anyone wishing to take a tour of the White House, there was no initial indication that he had ever before attempted to overthrow a sovereign nation. Further investigation, however, revealed that Myers possessed specific knowledge of the inner workings of the U.S. government.

Enlarge Image Crisis In The Oval Office

“He knew about the three branches of government, and he understood how a bill becomes a law—that’s when I knew he was serious,” said the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Adm. Michael Mullen, who claimed Myers called the Pentagon more than 40 times on the president’s direct line, using different voices before hanging up. “While it was certainly unorthodox when he ordered us to use our most awesome tanks to invade ’someplace’ but would not say specifically where, the military functions by following orders.”

Added Mullen: “That boy is the commander in chief, after all.”

Pentagon sources also confirmed rumors that the Brandon administration mobilized the Iowa National Guard for deployment to Myers’ school, where they received instructions to lower their pants and moon the principal.

Minutes after the coup began, Secret Service agents still loyal to President Bush snuck the ousted leader out of the White House’s back door, and rushed him into an unmarked vehicle bound for Dulles International Airport. Denied access to Air Force One, Bush and his family then fled the nation on Lufthansa flight 687 bound for Zurich.

Though Myers appeared to have the support of top military leaders, opposition figures claim that his most heinous acts while in the office—including emptying out desk drawers, knocking over a priceless bust of Thomas Jefferson, and ripping down drapery and wearing it as a cape—are punishable by the harshest forms of spanking in the land. Others have questioned the 10-year-old’s legitimacy altogether.

“While the Constitution does not explicitly address this situation, standards set forth in the Federalist Papers and other writings indicate that, by using the president’s official pen on the president’s official paper while sitting in the president’s official chair, Myers became de facto ruler of the United States,” said Georgetown University law professor Steven Fuller, adding that Myers’ appointment of his friend Hal as vice president was equally binding. “The fact that [Myers] spelled ‘president’ wrong, however, does make it a bit of a legal gray area.”

At press time, the nation remained in a state of flux, and it was unclear who would take over the Oval Office after Myers finally resigned out of boredom and left to rejoin the members of his tour.

Though his reign was brief and tumultuous, Myers could boast of several accomplishments during his 15-minute term, such as balancing the budget, pulling the troops out of Iraq, and establishing universal health care.

Trying To Catch Up…

Posted by Terry on October 1, 2007

Well, after my marathon writing session last week, I took a few days off to rest my eyes and fingers. The blisters have healed and the double vision has passed, so it’s back to business.

FBI INVESTIGATION TRAIN TRACK SABOTAGE…Remember, in the Federal Bureau of Investigation, there are no links to terrorism. Either blame it on the Anglo-Saxon American, or just explain it away. It may have just been swamp gas.

NEW IDEA FOR TERRORISTS! I’m sure someone in Al-Qaeda is in charge of taking notes!

DETROIT: ANTI-JEWISH, ANTI-CHRISTIAN LITERATURE FOUND LEFT ON CARS.

MAN CLAIMING TO BE TERRORIST ARRESTED A LOGAN INTERNATIONAL… Just goes to show that everyone can’t be a successful comedian.

PENTAGON LAUNCHES AFRICAN COMMAND (AFRICOM)…I thought this was already done years ago.

WE’RE MAKING PROGRESS IN IRAQ, ONE IDIOT AT A TIME. I bet Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are just flat out pissed.

EU PROPOSES CLAMPDOWN TO COMBAT TERRORISM. I think this is a wonderful idea, but it’ll never get past Nancy and Harry.

REMEMBER, SECURITY STARTS AT THE BORDERS…If only our elected officials would listen to their constituents.

SOME AIR RESERVISTS REJECT UNIFORM RULE. This struck me as, well, just flat out strange. Let’s look at this for just a moment…You’re a young man and want to join the Air Force. Now, as just about anyone knows, part of being in the military is wearing a uniform. These reservists now want to wear their civi’s while their doing their weekend warrior stint, and their threatening with their union. What the hell are they going to do, go on strike? I’d put them in the damn brig, period. If they wanna wear their civi’s, they should think about SpecOps.

And finally for today, HOW ABOUT BOWING TO THE INTOLERANCE OF ISLAM!

Suspicious Activities At California Fire Station

Posted by Terry on September 24, 2007

Since July, there have been several reports of suspicious activities at various fire stations in California. A few of the incidents can be found at National Terror Alert.

One of the tactics of terrorists is to disable or severely limit response by first responders (Police, Fire, EMS, etc.) to be able to carry out their mission with maximum results. Recon is always necessary before the front-line troops hit an area in order to gain valuable intelligence. Islamic terrorists are no yahoos. They know exactly what they are doing. We should know what THEY are doing as well and be on guard for any suspicious activity.

Of course, the FBI will probably issue a press release, something to the effect of “Oh, they are just innocent people who have a love for ugly and plain architecture”.

Two Passengers Arrested at Raleigh-Durham Airport Following Plane Disturbance

Posted by Terry on September 24, 2007

Two people were arrested Friday at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport after causing a disturbance.

American Eagle Flight 4518, en route from Jacksonville to RDU, was diverted from its assigned gate to a remote area of the airport after the flight crew radioed ahead for police. What exactly happened has not been disclosed, but it was classified as a ‘Serious Terror Threat”. Apparently, the FBI is now saying, basically, that it was all just one big misunderstanding.

Yeah, right.

Although the information being released by the FBI is playing down any serious threat, my gut tells me that in order for there to be a response such as listed, it must have appeared pretty serious. Of course, the FBI downplays any incident that smells of terrorism or terroristic threats.

A good example is the Joel Heinrichs case. He was the student who prematurely detonated a bomb outside of the University of Oklahoma football stadium back in 2006. Heinrichs was rigged with a backpack full of TATP, a particularly nasty substance that makes C4 look like fireworks. Despite the fact that Heinrichs was a Muslim convert and evidence showed that he was connected to a mosque which subscribed to the Jihad of Al-Qaeda, and other evidence showed he may have been part of a larger plot that fizzled when he prematurely ejaculated, the FBI stated that it was an isolated incident and that it was not connected to Islam whatsoever.

Either the FBI thinks that A: We are unable to bear the stress of a terror incident, B: we are stupid, or C: They are afraid to offend anyone.

My guess would be C.
